Yoga for Perimenopause Series

  • 8 Limbs Phinney Ridge 6801 Greenwood Avenue North Seattle, WA, 98103 United States (map)

Half of the world’s population goes through menopause.
Who’s talking about it?
We are!

Are you feeling alone on your menopause journey? Are you wondering where to begin seeking community or information? Are you uncertain with whom you can talk? Do you feel overbusy, fatigued, overwhelmed, and/or unable to make time for yourself?

Come nourish yourself during this unique 4-week series that includes supportive yoga practices for this time in your life, menopause education/resources, and inclusive community space for reflection, sharing, and camaraderie.

This series is for anyone experiencing the initial stages of the pivotal menopause transition – also known as perimenopause!* Move, breathe, connect with yoga’s self-care skills (and maybe learn some new ones), share, express, be seen/heard, and cultivate community – all in an atmosphere of acceptance and support.

Expect to walk away grounded, empowered, and ready to consciously lean into this transformational time in your life – ready for what’s next.

We recommend participants dress in cozy layers in which you can sit, lie, and move comfortably.

Held at 8 Limbs Phinney Ridge | In-studio only

Series Price: $100

*Not sure if this event is for you? The arc of menopause effects can last approximately 4-15 years (or longer!) from perimenopausal through postmenopausal. You are probably (but not always) in your late 30s or 40s. You might be noticing some subtle (or not-so-subtle) shifts in your cycle, mood, body, skin/hair, memory, and so on. You may have just begun to connect the dots, or are quite aware of the big picture you’re looking at. Cis and trans folks are all welcome.
