The power of Nature

Dear friends,

I’m in a group that sends each other images that have inspired and brought joy during the week… and so far, every single one is a photo of the natural world. Trees, mountains, flowers, water, stunning sunsets, and so on. It is any wonder that when we spend time in nature, we are rejuvenated on the deepest possible level of aliveness?

What might you create time to do this week, to seek out even a few minutes of nurturing nature? Go on a hike, cloud gaze, hug a tree, or visit your nearest urban park? Sit on your patio, inhale fresh air, and listen to the bird song? Take a ferry ride or sit still at the water’s edge? Walk through the aisles of your nearest garden center and look closely at the intricacies of leaves and blooms? Regard the entire universe in the open face of an orchid at Trader Joe’s? Nature is all around us, large and small. Let yourself notice and bask.

Enjoy,
Nicole
